Massive update disclaimer!

I finally got some new pictures on here! But I really didn't get too many stories or real updates! Sorry. I had about 15 new posts to do and not enough brain power to type comments to everything this late. But isn't "a picture worth a thousand words?" Who needs comments?

If you want to see the beginning of my updates, you will have to go back quite a bit! Anyway, that's it.

I will try a bit harder to keep things more current and to put some more life into my posts and comments in the future!

Too cute!

I came into the room to find Jonathan sitting there playing with the iron and wearing daddy's hat. He played like this for a good 15 minutes. He was so cute walking around in dad's hat!

This is one of his new favorite faces! He always has a goofy face for the camera.

There are a couple zoo posts that don't have any comments. Sorry. I am not super great about writing on the blog. I just wanted to get some pictures up.

The Phoenix Zoo was really pretty and I am so glad we got to go.

Phoenix Zoo

Our last day in Phoenix we were able to make it to the Phoenix Zoo. The day before our friends Brandon and Jenn Mullins came down and stayed with us at the hotel and then came to the zoo with us the next day. We had a blast at the zoo, even though it was blazing hot.

The monkey village was really fun. The monkeys even came pretty close.

It was seriously too hot out, though. Even though Jonathan was just riding in a pack, he was still super pink from the heat. I think we were all dehydrated after, even though we drank several bottles of water each.

Jonathan is such a little stud! He had fun seeing all the animals. However, I am pretty sure the highlight was the water park.

Phoenix

Last week we had the privilege of joining Morgan in Phoenix. He had some Asbestos training and we tagged along for fun. Jonathan spent quite a while checking out our hotel room and playing on his very own queen bed. During the week, we had a chance to eat at some awesome restaurants, swim in the hotel pool, and enjoy the very warm Phoenix weather. Next we get to go to Las Vegas in November. Morgan has some Radiation training there and we have already started making plans for another fun vacation!

Happy 4 year Anniversary!

August 18th was our 4 year Anniversary! Where does the time go? Morgan and I started dating on April 7, 2006 and were married on August 18, 2006. We have had so many wonderful adventures in these past 4 years. Like all married couples, we've had our ups and our downs, but we have been so grateful to have each other through it all.

We decided that we would just wait and celebrate our Anniversary the following week, since we would be in Phoenix all week, but I just couldn't wait. I decided to surprise Morgan with a little French picnic. I also planned to watch our photo video from our wedding.

We had several different cheese; Brie, Gouda, Fresh Mozzarella, and Mascarpone (this one with a little virgin honey is heaven)!

We had a couple loaves of delicious fresh bakery bread!

And some yummy cold cuts!

We had a fabulous dinner and couldn't have celebrated our Anniversary any better. Plus, we had our favorite third wheel with us. He loved the picnic and got a kick out of seeing our old pictures in the video!

Thought he needed some drying, after all he is the Drool Monster!

I was in the back bedroom and kept hearing Jonathan laughing like crazy. I came out to find my little boy in the dryer and having a ball. Don't worry, we never started the dryer! He was just sitting in there on some warm clothes and having a blast!

He has always had a wonderful curiosity and a fantastic sense of humor. I can never get enough of this kids smiles!

I tried to get him to fold my clothes for me while he was in there, but he thought it was more fun to wrinkle them up!
