Summer!

We are so excited for this wonderful weather and couldn't wait to get out and enjoy it! I have been wanting to get out and ride my bike, but didn't have one of those bike carts. We went to the store to find one and found this bike attachment instead. I really like how he gets to ride in front of me and see the scenery.

We are moving!!!

Morgan just got a job at a mine in Silver City, NM

We have plans to start driving down to Silver City on May 7th. The packing process has begun and we are hoping to decide on an apartment this week.

Of course we will miss all our family and friends, but we would be lying if we said we weren't super excited.

Anyone and everyone is more than welcome to come and visit us! It's a fun, charming little town and we will make sure you get the full Silver City experience when you come.

Easter

Potty fun and more....

So I was going to be extra motivated and start potty training Jonathan. I know most of you will say he is WAY too young. But, my mom was a mother of 6 and all of her children were potty trained around 1 years old. I figured if she did it, then it's not too young. Jonathan was a champ! He loved sitting on the toilet. By the second day we went a whole day using only 1 or 2 diapers. We had to laugh, that second day we put him on the toilet and he went, turned for the toilet paper, wiped, and turned to flush the toilet. I know that is way too much information, but I had to share it. I was so proud of him!! We will get this though. I will try again!!!




One day I was making dinner and Jonathan was playing in this cupboard. Next thing I know he had squashed himself right in there. Then he would peek his head around and just laugh. I thought he looked so big and so cute, so I had to take pictures. He thinks he is pretty funny!!


Okay this last one is very random. So Jonathan loves that Baby Einstein movie. He usually will bounce to the beat or wave his hands to the beat. When the movie is done it automatically rewinds and ejects. I usually just turn the tv off and leave the video sitting halfway out of the vcr player. Well, one day Morgan and I were sitting in the back room working on the computer when I hear the movie start. We go into the front room to find the tv on and the video pushed in (the vcr automatically starts when something is pushed in) and Jonathan just sitting there watching Baby Einstein. He isn't a prodigy or anything, just observant. And this wasn't a one time thing, he has done this at least 5 times.
Okay, now in this picture, Jonathan was standing there following the metronome around trying to grab it. It was pretty funny.
So one minute he is turning on his own movie and then next he is trying to grab something through the tv. What a cute kid!! He always makes me laugh!

Merry Christmas

We had a very Merry Christmas and couldn't have asked for a better gift than spending so much time with family. We had family in from Seattle, Pennsylvania, and Nebraska. It was such a blast.
We were very excited to have Jonathan with us this year for Christmas. He loved playing with ALL of his cousins. We tried to stay away from getting him toys and other stuff, and just got him one toy and some much needed clothes. I figure that at his age he really doesn't understand opening presents. Plus, Christmas isn't about gifts and presents anyway.

In the end, it was a wonderful Christmas and I loved being with my husband and baby boy!

Congratulations to my wonderful husband on his graduation! It was a cold, but very exciting day. I am very proud of you Morgan!! Way to go! (Oh and poor little Jonathan looks very homely. I think I forgot to do his hair.)
