I love this time of year!

We had such a great Christmas. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We had some time to spend with each other and a whole bunch of time to spend with family. Morgan's brothers and their families came in from Seattle and from Montana, so it was just one big party.
We spent time with my family on the Saturday right before Christmas. It was a big Christmas party with my mom's side of the family. It was also a lot of fun.
It was really snowy, but beautiful and we really were so grateful for the wonderful Christmas season and festivities we were able to enjoy.
I hope everyones Christmas was wonderful and filled with joy and love! Now if only we can recharge our internal batteries for the New Year's Eve parties coming up!

The Airport

Picking up Morgan's brother Micah was so much fun. There is so much excitement surrounding missionaries and I am always so excited to go to the MTC or the airport to drop-off or pick-up missionaries. We had such a big group awaiting the much anticipated arrival of our missionary and it was fun to look around at the other families waiting for their missionaries, too.
A couple nieces made a darling sign (you can see it in the pictures) and everyone was giddy with excitement.
Even though I haven't met Micah as one of his sister-in-laws, I knew him before his mission from school, it was amazing to me just how natural it is to have all family members together. It was just so normal for me to call him a brother-in-law, it's pretty neat how that happens.
Thank goodness he has a bit of a break before he starts into school and the activities of life. It's been fun to have him home!

We're almost free!

It's hard to believe we are about to finish another semester of school. It will be so nice to have some time to relax and have some fun. Morgan is even more excited for this time of the year, because his younger brother Micah will be coming home from his mission on the 18th of December. Morgan and his brother saw each other for 5 minutes in the las 4 years. 1 month before Morgan came home from his mission, Micah had left on his. But they were really lucky, because Morgan was able to see Micah in the MTC. It will be so fun to go pick Micah up at the airport.

My 21st Birthday!

I can't believe I am finally legal to drink! hahaha Of course I wouldn't. But my mom, dad, and husband did take me to the White Owl for a tasty hamburger! They really are excellent burgers.
I had a wonderful birthday. My in-laws threw me a birthday party (combined with a niece and a cousin) and it was so much fun! I have put some pictures up, following this entry. In one of the pictures I was laughing because all the nephews got to the candles before I did, but don't worry, they light the cake again so I could blow them out myself. I just thought it was so darn cute to see them all so excited. I don't care too much about having to blow out candles, but I am glad the kids had fun and were so excited.
